Center for Nano Science and Technology

Building on a distinguished track record, Notre Dame’s Center for Nano Science and Technology is focused on furthering the university’s nanoelectronics research in four distinct areas, referred to as the “pillars” of the Center:

  • Energy harvesting technologies
  • New materials and nanostructures
  • Nano-bio electronics
  • Physical limits to computation

The faculty leading the Center’s research represent the disciplines of electrical engineering, computer science and engineering, chemistry and biochemistry, physics, and chemical and biomolecular engineering.
